About Us
Main Objective
Desired Hope was established to engage with families who were and are being impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic and any future natural or man-made disasters by supporting them psychologically, providing emotional care and social support free of charge.
Company Capacity
The organisation is directed led by and employs professionals who are qualified in mental health, psychology, psychotherapy, social care, counselling and business management. Some of the team members are individuals who have recovered or are bereaved from Covid 19. The company partners with other organisations who specialise in mental wellbeing and social welfare.
Our Mission
Our mission is to engage collaboratively with individuals and families who have been bereaved and those who recovered but are experiencing a range of persistent symptoms (long Covid) during the current pandemic (COVID-19) and any future disasters.
Our Vision
A society with complete social and mental wellbeing. Our goal is to significantly improve the mental health and wellbeing of families affected through counselling, education, support and advocacy. Desired Hope through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that all families affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope. Families bereaved during the pandemic find closure and comfort whenever needed. We work with our partners so that our communities are ready and prepared for disasters
Our Values
Our values underpin how we work as an organisation and as individuals within it.
